The Full Story
ME
I have a very upbeat personality....and that definitely comes through when I am taking pictures! Please make sure that you like my style and that you appreciate my perspective on photography BEFORE you hire me.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
You will book your session through the Maria Wood Photography booking site. As you go through the process of booking, you will be prompted to pay a deposit. The balance will then be due on or before the day of the shoot. You will receive a payment reminder 2 days before your session. Deposits are non-refundable, and required, to reserve the date. You will not receive your images until payment has been received.
TURNAROUND TIME
There is a lot of editing to be done and it takes a good amount of time. As a general rule, you will receive a link to download your pictures about 3 weeks from when they were taken. There are a few exceptions to this when working with a pre-shoot for a wedding. But if you need them sooner, there is a $50 rush fee.
PRINT PRIVILEGES
All photo shoots include the rights to print. I am a firm believer in allowing my clients to download their full resolution images so they can use them however they want to. You should have them to enjoy! When you download the images, you are welcome to print from it. The images are edited and ready to go. However, when printing large images, I do recommend you doing those through me. When you print through me, I edit the picture from the original for the exact size you are wanting. That is always a good idea when ordering any images that are larger than an 11x14. Please refer to the print pricing menu for printing options. If you are placing a large order, please let me know and I can put a custom package together for you.
WHAT TO WEAR
Put effort into your clothing!
The more effort you put in, the better your pictures will be! ALWAYS! I am happy to give suggestions on color combos that look great. Or give suggestions on different places to get good clothes for pictures. I love when there are lots of layers and a pattern or two. When done well it looks great! Feel free to show lots of personality when choosing your clothing. We want you to look like you!
LOCATION
I have lots of locations that I frequent. Some of them are free but some charge to take pictures at their location. You are responsible for any fees associated with the location. I will make sure you are aware of how much beforehand. But if you have a great location you have seen or heard about..... do share. I LOVE trying new locations.
RETURN CLIENTS
I seriously have the best clients there are! They are all so wonderful. Please tell me if you have been referred by a past client of mine. All of my business is referral based! So a good word from a past client means a lot to me and I would love to know about it!
CARD DESIGN
I have a designer I work with who is happy to design your announcements for a fee. Just let me know, and I can put you in touch with her!
